Dr Marcus Wilcox
GP Availability
Dr Wilcox is available to existing patients only via bulk-billed Telehealth and in-person appointments one day a fortnight.
In-person consultations are charged as per the AMA fee schedule.
Telehealth appointments are bulk-billed.
ADHD provisional diagnosis and management.
Referral to psychiatrists for formal ADHD and ASD diagnosis and applications for stimulant prescription permits (ADHD medication management) where clinically appropriate. For co-share ADHD medication arrangements the individual must be a permanent resident of Victoria.
Health evaluations as relevant.
(Services NOT offered: GP care for complex mental health issues, surgical procedures, pathology collection in the consulting room, immunisations. There is no availability of oxygen, emergency drug supply or resuscitation equipment.)
After-Hours Care
Established patients can contact Dr Wilcox - doctor@theadhdclinic.com.au for non-urgent, administrative or follow-up questions. Emails are not continuously monitored and are not appropriate for urgent or emergency care.
Dr Wilcox may occasionally reply outside business hours at his discretion; however, medical care is only provided during his scheduled clinic sessions. For urgent concerns, please call 000 or attend your local emergency department.

Dr Wilcox is a member of The Australian Medical Association (Victorian Branch) and
uses the private fee schedule for GP consultations listed by the AMA.
Initial consultation: AMA Level C Consultation 20-40 min Cost $198.00 Medicare Rebate $82.90
Follow-up consultation: AMA Level B Consultation < 20min Cost: $108.00 Medicare Rebate $42.85
Prolonged consultation: AMA Level D Consultation 40-60 min $300.00 Medicare Rebate $122.15

Dr Marcus Wilcox
Dr Marcus Wilcox, is a General Practitioner (GP) with over 30 years of experience in general practice and working in emergency departments. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Adelaide 1990. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 1998 and was awarded the Rural Generalist Fellowship by the RACGP in 2023, recognising his work in Rural and Remote Australia and his attainment of the Emergency Medicine Advanced Diploma from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. He continues to work locally in the Emergency Department of a private hospital. Much of his work in remote area medicine involved managing mental health emergencies in an emergency department setting, and in the general practice setting he has extensive experience in managing a range of mental health conditions including depression and anxiety, at times in a co-share arrangement with psychiatrists when appropriate. Recently he gained an interest in ADHD and is developing his practice in this area including relevant academic study. He is dedicated to offering patient-centred care, with a special focus on ADHD management.
