Mental Health Counselling

Juliette Cavendish is a mental health therapist registered with the Australian Counselling Association. She works one-on-one with adults, and with organisations, to turn an understanding of ADHD into practical strategies that work in everyday life.

Many of the people she works with are managing ADHD alongside anxiety, depression, relationship strain or difficulties at work. Juliette brings experience from corporate settings across Australia, and she presents regularly at international ADHD conferences.

She is currently undertaking a PhD, researching the gap between diagnostic language and real-world experience. Her work is directed toward developing improved screening and intake frameworks that better reflect how ADHD is actually experienced in adult life, with the goal of strengthening post-diagnostic support.

Drawing on both her academic research and clinical work with clients, Juliette integrates approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, as well as Narrative Therapy within a structured counselling framework. Her focus is on helping clients move beyond insight and into practical action, building systems that support daily functioning at home, at work, in education, and within relationships.
